Through a project with Next Field Co., Ltd., we developed the noise and vibration unit " e-Sense IoT (Noise and Vibration) " for construction Sites. This unit transmits noise and vibration measurement data from construction Sites to the cloud and can display the measurement data on Next Field's construction dashboard " e-Stand ".
Overview of the Noise and Vibration Unit for Construction Sites
This unit acquires measurement data from noise meters • vibration meters installed at construction Sites and transmits it to the cloud server in real time. Data is provided from the cloud to the construction dashboard " e-Stand ", enabling e-Stand to display noise and vibration data. This allows administrators to quickly and comprehensively understand Sites conditions, leading to expectations for process optimization, environmental consideration, and improved safety.
By implementing this unit, the following functions become possible through integration with e-Stand:
- View noise • vibration at construction Sites in real time from remote locations
- Display alerts when measured values exceed reference values
- Check trends in noise • vibration over a certain period on graphs

Development Background
At construction Sites, various measuring instruments (sensors) are used for Sites environmental conservation and safety measures. However, due to limited IoT adoption, measurement data could not be integrated into remote management tools such as e-Stand, which have been gaining popularity in recent years, resulting in a situation where measurement data could not be effectively utilized.
Particularly for noise meters and vibration meters, the use of measurement data was limited, being displayed on outward-facing displays at Sites and mainly used to show noise • vibration conditions to nearby residents. If this situation could be improved and measurement data could be transmitted in real time to management tools such as e-Stand, it would become possible to issue alerts to remote administrators in emergencies and verify past data when complaints occur. Due to expectations for these benefits, IoT adoption of measuring instruments and integration with remote management tools were anticipated.

Future Development
This unit began being offered by Next Field as " e-Sense IoT (Noise and Vibration) " at the end of last year. Since then, it has contributed to environmental conservation at various construction Sites.
While we introduced an IoT unit that measures noise • vibration this time, Haudi has also developed units compatible with various sensors including anemometers, rain gauges, temperature and humidity meters, barometers, water quality meters, inclinometers, and water level meters.
