RxT

Why RxT is Needed
Data Transfer in Non-Network Environments
Data transfer in non-network environments is the "invisible bottleneck" of all Sites.
Large experimental equipment and manufacturing line facilities often cannot be connected to networks due to security and regulatory reasons.
Manual transfer of massive data via USB wastes time and cost, hindering effective data utilization.

Storage Media Security
USB drives and DVDs are frequently used for data migration from offline devices. While convenient, they harbor serious security and operational efficiency issues.
| Loss • Theft Risk | Due to their small size and portability, they are easily lost or stolen When containing confidential data, information leakage damage becomes severe |
|---|---|
| Malware Infection Risk | Via USB drives, viruses and ransomwareinfection risks exist Even with network isolation, physical introductioncauses security collapse |
| Inefficient for Large Data Volumes | Latest research data and video files can reachseveral GB to tens of GBin size Copying • moving to storage mediatakes time, and media exchangeeffort increases |
| Human Error | Filecopy omissionsandoverwrite mistakesoccur easily High dependence on Sites personnelexists, consuming time andlabor costs |
Overview
Safe & Fast Data Transfer Platform Using IoT Devices " "
RxT is a total solution combining data transfer IoT device " RxT-01 " with storage systems.
Keep RxT-01 permanently connected to non-network equipment, and simply perform easy operations on your smartphone when you want to transfer data to automatically upload to cloud or internal servers.

*RxT-01 main unit must be connected to network via wireless LAN or Ethernet.
3 Key Selection Points
Convenience, versatility, and user-friendly operation. A service that combines them all.
Easy Data Transfer to Cloud via Smartphone Operation
Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone and log in to the remote environment via browser to immediately start data transfer.
Significantly reduces waiting time during data transfer and eliminates data mixing troubles.
Compatible from WindowsXP to Latest OS. Flexible Connectivity Regardless of Equipment Model or Manufacturing Date
Any experimental equipment with USB drivers can be implemented. No individual settings per device or additional software installation required.
Also, RxT-01 is recognized as a USB disk by experimental equipment, eliminating virus infection and unauthorized external access risks.
Combination of IoT and Authentication Technology Achieves Both Safety and Transfer Speed
RxT was developed utilizing proprietary technology[1] developed by Project Assistant Professor Masatoshi Hanai of the Information Technology Center, The University of Tokyo.
This research was presented at IEEE BigData 2024, an international conference on big data[2].
