At "Everyone's Brain World 2024 ~Super Diversity~", part of "A Slightly Ahead Interesting Future -CHANGE TOMORROW-" "" held at Tokyo Portcity Takeshiba on October 12-13, 2024, our company Haudi and Fulltech Co., Ltd. jointly exhibited "Mirairo Door", a new generation automatic door designed with diversity in mind.

"A Slightly Ahead Interesting Future 2024" is an event hosted by the A Slightly Ahead Interesting Future Executive Committee (Secretary: CiP Council General Incorporated Association) where visitors can experience a future where pop culture and cutting-edge technology merge. "Everyone's Brain World 2024 ~Super Diversity~" was an exhibition within that event, held as part of the Neurodiversity Project activities, gathering 54 hands-on contents from industry, academia, and government.
This time, our company and Fulltech Co., Ltd. exhibited "Mirairo Door" at "Everyone's Brain World 2024 ~Super Diversity~". We installed the actual unit near the main hall entrance and introduced it to many visitors, from families to elderly people, as they passed through.
New generation automatic door "Mirairo Door"
"Mirairo Door" is a new generation automatic door designed with diversity in mind that can optimize door operation according to the characteristics of each person passing through. Through joint development by our company Haudi and Fulltech Co., Ltd., we realized a system that automatically adjusts door operation in coordination with smartphones. Furthermore, Mirairo Inc., well-versed in universal design, joined to define and implement optimal operation methods according to disability types and attributes.
At this exhibition, visitors carrying smartphones with the app installed were able to see "Mirairo Door" actually operate automatically. Conventional automatic doors could only move uniformly, causing significant inconvenience to people with visual impairments or wheelchair users. "Mirairo Door", developed to address this issue, provides optimal operation tailored to the diverse characteristics of each person, including opening timing, hold-open time, and closing speed.
The event was bustling with visitors of all ages, providing an opportunity to introduce "Mirairo Door" to the general public. Some visitors were newly aware of the challenges automatic doors face and were surprised by the advanced nature of our service.
Haudi will continue to update our service to make it even more user-friendly, encouraged by the feedback we received.
